Lee Ohio : window shopping

window shopping

I went to see my mother this past week for an overdue visit.  Along with the obvious joy of just spending time with her (yes Mum, I know you are reading this) -- it also means we get to shop.  And it means I get to shop in real places.  It seems so exotic now to visit  malls that don't look that the Apocalypse occurred or are a set for some sort of zombie movie.  Hey, I enjoy a deal just like the rest (I had my 15% off birthday card for Anthropologie in my pocket after all) -- but Southern Mississippi is lacking in brand label shopping, in my humble opinion.  Even though I'm not planning on purchasing a full set of luggage from Louis Vuitton, it is still nice to peer through (drool on) the windows at them. Because much of it was, indeed, window shopping.  Which yes is fun, but also painfully torturous I will admit.  The following is my most current wish-want-need list.

Tess Chair & Aiden Sofa from Crate&Barrel

I fell in love, on my face, with a massive antique cameo cocktail ring.  'Placeholder' from Ageless Heirlooms.

Cutest coffee pot ever. DeLonghi® kMix 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker at Crate&Barrel.

L'Occitane goodness.

I discovered a gorgeous full-size vintage (clean, functioning, shiny) solid brass bird cage à la Sylvester and Tweety at an antique shop. Perfect for a canary... Miniature 'placeholder' courtesy of Yonks.

Divine. Soft. Ohhhhh. Rosette quilt from Anthropologie.

I detest - detest - espadrilles.  But add a satin toe-cap -Love! Seville canvas & satin espadrilles. J.Crew.
