|What are you afraid of? Darla Jackson. (2005)|
I've been a long-admirer of Darla Jackson's animal sculptures (Etsy shop alfalfa loves me) - in particular a bunny donning a crow mask entitled What are you afraid of? I was very excited to hear that in an effort to raise funds for a community sculpture studio and space, she was making a multi-edition of said bun-bun as a babe as a reward level for donating $50. True altruism is the act of selfless giving, but I won't say no to welcoming this baby bun into my home. (Did I mention the price of the piece, titled It started at a young age..., shown below in progress, will go up to $250.00 after the 19th of October, at the end of the fundraising event?)

Mind you, not all of Ms. Jackson's work features rabbits or is even animal-themed, but this is what I've chosen to showcase here. To view more work, please visit her website.
